Jingying Wang is a PhD student in the SNSF research project “Labour Markets as Emergent Mobility Networks” at the Chair of Prof. Per Block. She started her PhD in September 2023, after completing an MSc in Social Research at the University of Edinburgh.

Jingying is interested in studying occupational mobility with social network analysis. Her current research aims to understand the structure of marriage within and between different occupations and how it contributes to income inequality and social segregation.
