Jingying Wang is a PhD student in the SNSF research project “Labour Markets as Emergent Mobility Networks” under the Chair of Prof. Block, starting in September 2023. Jingying completed an MSc degree at the University of Edinburgh in Social Research with a specialisation in social science research methods and social network analysis. Her main research interests are occupational mobility and advanced statistical modelling. As part of her PhD project, she currently aims to unpack the structure of occupational intermarriage and its impact on income inequality and social segregation.
