Join us for the public talk on Current Sociological Research at the Department of Sociology at the University of Zurich SUZ.
Prof. Dr. Fabian Pfeffer is a professor of sociology at Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) in Munich and holds the Chair of Social Inequality and Social Structures. He is the founding director of the Munich International Stone Center for Inequality Research (ISI). His research focuses on social inequality and its persistence over time and across generations. Current projects focus on wealth inequality and its consequences for the next generation, the institutional context of social mobility processes and educational inequality, as well as the empirical analysis of utopian concepts for a better world.
