We are excited to announce that Dr. Ilona Pap successfully defended her PhD thesis «Migration Mosaic: Unveiling Perspectives and Patterns of Integration in a Transnational World»! In her work, Ilona deals with the integration of people with a migration background and the connections to their countries of origin (data basis are people living in Switzerland). On the one hand, the focus is on the perspective of the host society (what is integration from their point of view). On the other hand, it examines whether there are correlations between various characteristics of integration and the degree of attachment to the country of origin of people with a migration background.
