Valentina Petrović joined the Chair of Prof.Dr. Jörg Rössel as a postdoctoral researcher in 2021. She obtained her PhD at the European University Institute, with a dissertation on the influence of classes and the state on the democratisation process in post-communist countries, with a regional focus on post-Yugoslav successor states. Her research interests focus on democratisation, europeanisation, political mobilisation and comparative political economy in a postcommunist context.
