Cecilia Daniar Pè is a PhD candidate at the Department of Sociology and part of the URPP "Equality of Opportunity" since January 2025. Her doctoral research is supervised by Prof. Benita Combet and Prof. Marco Giesselmann.
 
Cecilia studied Sociology at the University of Milano-Bicocca and the Freie Universität Berlin. During her master's studies, she worked as a research assistant at the Berlin Social Science Center (WZB), contributing to the "Health and Social Inequalities" (HSI) research group led by Prof. Jan Paul Heisig.
 
Her research interests lie in socio-economic inequalities, political behaviour, and social attitudes. In her PhD project, she is exploring how social class and gender shape the choice of fields of study and career trajectories.
