New chapters by Anna Mann in «Eating is an English Word» from Annemarie Mol

Dr. Anna Mann contributed to two chapters in Prof. Dr. Annemarie Mol's new book about a series of material semiotic inquiries into eating practices - and how social scientists should let go of the dream of universal concepts.

Dr. Anna Mann explores in an ethnographic experiment with her colleagues tasting with fingers and reflects on the Vorarlberg dialect word and practice of "schmecka".
