Researcher on design and applications of systems that use machine learning, optimization, game theory, and control on social, financial, and, governance systems. Currently holds a postdoc position in Game Theory at UZH. Current research project is focused on “Applications of Reinforcement Learning on Markets”. During his earlier academic path, he received his Doctoral degree on “Supporting Sustainable Decision Making with Value Sensitive Artificial Intelligence” from ETH Zurich, where he published works on control, deep learning, and optimization. He acquired a Master’s in Information Systems and a Bachelor’s in Management Science and Technology from Athens University of Economics and Business. Finally, Thomas has also worked in the industry in positions related to ML research and software engineering.
